The matrix is the structure for learning in this third-dimensional reality. According to the movie The Matrix, “the matrix is everywhere, it is all around us. You see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. The truth that you are born into bondage, a prison that you cannot feel or touch or taste. A prison for your mind.”
When I first watched The Matrix, it triggered many thoughts within me and I knew that getting free of the matrix equaled freedom from illusion and earthly karma. And, like Neo, I wanted the “pill” that would free me. What was my “red pill” and how could I get it? This was not a question my brain could answer, because my brain was enveloped in the matrix and totally overwhelmed by the idea. This had to come from a part of me that was beyond the matrix and this world of duality. Like with any question we ask, the answer appears when we are ready to see and accept it. In my case, it came in pieces over time, and I will share with you the bottom line.
This may sound selfish to some, but the key to freedom from the matrix is to truly love self. I am not talking righteousness, conditional love, or that feeling of entitlement. True self love is the kind that allows you to stand in your unique authenticity – to be and demonstrate the truth of who you really are. It is loving and honoring self so much that this outer world doesn’t dictate who you are or what you do.
When we look at life on this planet, it is all about survival. Everything we do is to care for the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Our days are spent attempting to fill our needs. This is the case on Earth because we are learning to care about ourselves and eventually come into loving self. I had a powerful lesson with this. I was in a car accident and my life pretty much went on as usual. Then I had another car accident that was worse. That one forced me to become more aware of and take care of my body’s needs. I had not seen the message with the first one, so I got to experience another. Every day we have experiences that help us learn this most important lesson.
In today’s world, we have come to trust in that which is outside self rather than what’s inside self. The outer is only the delivery system for what’s inside. When we are happy and healthy inside, our outer reflects that. In the big picture, it doesn’t really matter where we look because we are still taking a step closer to loving self with each attempt we make. It doesn’t matter because life is about gaining experience and those experiences will one day all come together and fit like a puzzle. When that happens, we see the truth and know the magnificent beings we are.
When you accept that the work is on the inside, the programs you took on while living in the matrix become glaringly bright. Then it is just a matter of releasing them. Sometimes just choosing to step out of the box and release all programs not serving your highest good is enough to release them. Sometimes you have to consciously acknowledge the program as there is something to gain in the recognition. Once you see it, choose to let it go, if it is no longer serving your highest good. It can be that easy.
If something happens during the day that triggers a response in you, journal write on that event and see what comes to you. Then intend that what you lost, gave away or had taken be returned to you, cleaned in the Light to your vibration and come back into you in just the right way. Then intend anything you took on that is not serving your highest good be released into the Light and the Light do with it whatever is perfect and right. Do this from the core of your being and it will work. Your intention and choice are indeed powerful.
Another thing you can do is ask what deceptions you carry that you are now ready to release. Again you can write about this. Even if you don’t like to write, it can be very beneficial. Once you see these things, intend that you release them with ease and grace so only the highest truth can come to you. This is how you come into loving self.
Loving self opens the door to loving others. When they feel loved, they can then love others. It spreads out and everyone benefits – there is a healing for all. Love truly does heal all wounds. And it starts with each of us. It is written to love your neighbor as yourself. The problem is, we don’t love ourselves. So let’s begin there.
Love self and go to the core of your being every day. As you do, the bonds that hold you in the matrix will loosen. You no longer have to struggle to put food on the table, to be healthy, to have shelter, to get the recognition and love you desire. You no longer give away parts of your self to jobs, consumerism, the medical establishment, family, friends, the military, and anything or anyone you feel can help you meet your needs. You are free. You see the matrix for what it is. As a result, life becomes the joy it was meant to be.
